In light of eternity, our lives appear as brief moments. Yet we cannot comprehend the loving care God has for every single second of these lives. My hope is to give you a window into His love, joy and strength found in our ordinary days.

Bedside Manners

We took a trip to visit Granny Mae on a sunny Saturday.  Blake brought along his doctors kit just in case anyone needed a check up.
Just hold still...
Let's put the oxygen sock on your finger.
Hmmm...better check your ears.
Yep, you need a shot!
And a hug to make it feel all better.
Grandma has always been a good sport to play along with the imaginary games we created.  It was sweet and very special to watch her do the same for Blake.  I pray that I have as much spunk and joy at her age.

The Transformer and The Cupcake Princess

My awesome friend, Kim Kelly, brought her little girl Annalise for a visit!  I was so excited to see Kim!  We've been friends since highschool and it's fun to see our kids play together.

Annalise knew to bring her own costume to our house.  There is nothing that pink in Blake's toy chest!

These make me laugh.  I promise that he was not karate chopping
her to the face.

I'm convinced that Annalise really is made of "sugar and spice, and everything nice."  And she looks SO much like her momma.
And this ornery boy is full of "snails and whales, and puppy dog tails!"  I love to squeeze him up!
